To All Those Who I Grew Up With

about

Hello, Gumshoe. You have discovered the song with "Hypocrite", "Blessed", and "Car" in it. Well done. Your reward is a b-side from 'Winter Person' called "The Premise" It is a song dissecting the question of "would you rather be smart or funny?" which we find a very interesting question. To us, this song feels like a warm hug musically. Something about it is comforting and welcoming. We really, really wanted to put it on 'Winter Person' but it did not fit the flow, and perhaps it's a stretch calling it a song about "hope". Still, it is a fun little song that we hope brings you comfort in some way, as it brings comfort to us.

Keep it secret, keep it safe.

If you have just stumbled upon this by accident, and have you idea what I'm talking about. You do not have our permission to click that link and listen to that song. Sorry, but you must find it legitimately through puzzles in the "Winter Person" book. Bye.

lyrics

Interpretations, our conversations

In a car at 3 AM

There's no place we haven't been

In the corners of this town

Lyrics:

Here my friends I must confess

I'm a hypocrite and a mess

Both new and old, limp with me down the road

I would have given up on me long ago

About my friends, I'm not ashamed

They've blessed me and they've blessed me all the same

Time tends to separate but we'll never hike alone

And we know where we always have a home
